Our story began in the most unexpected place: a high school math class. It was the first day of junior year at Thomas Jefferson Highschool, and both of us were dreading the thought of algebra and geometry. Little did we know that this ordinary classroom would become the backdrop for the start of something extraordinary. Juwan had always been a bit of a math whiz, breezing through equations and formulas with ease. On the other hand, Kasey found math to be more of a challenge and often needed a bit of extra help. We were seated next to each other by chance, and soon, a simple request for help with a difficult problem led to a conversation that neither of us wanted to end. Our friendship was effortless and full of laughter, support, and understanding even after graduation. Now, after years of growing together, facing challenges, and celebrating victories, we are thrilled to take the next step in our journey. From high school best friends to life partners, our love has only deepened and strengthened. We are grateful for that fateful seating arrangement in math class that brought us together and set us on this incredible journey. As we prepare to say "I do," we look forward to a future filled with love, laughter, and countless more shared adventures.
