What the fork is Garden Cocktail dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire that's comfortable enough to wear outside in the late summer of KY. Think light and airy dress for the ladies and a suit for the gents. At the end of the day, we want you to wear what makes you feel best! Please note that the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on grass, so choose your footwear accordingly!

While we love your kids, all wedding events will be adult-only.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

For the wedding on Saturday, yes, shuttles will be provided from room block locations (Hotel Genevieve/The Moxy) to the venue. The shuttles will leave promptly at 4:20 pm to make their way to the venue. For the Welcome Party and Sunday Brunch, there's plenty of Uber and Lyft if you prefer not to drive yourself.

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

If you are driving to the wedding venue, please park in the Knights of Columbus parking lot (4417 River Rd, Louisville, KY 40222). We will have buses shuttling people to and from the reception every few minutes so please do not walk down River Road. These buses will be available to take you back to your car throughout the evening.

Yes! Everyone invited to the wedding is welcome to the Friday Welcome Party and Sunday brunch as well.

Yes, immediately following the last song at 11pm there will be transporation to Gerstles! First round is on Gracie...

Is there live horse racing at Churchill Downs on Friday?

Answer

Yes! Live races start at 12:45pm so feel free to get there early if you want to bet on the ponies. The welcome party will be at 7pm at the Kentucky Derby Museum, which is on the grounds of Churchill Downs and just a short walk from the track itself.

What will the weather be like in Louisville this time of year?

Answer

While weather in the Ohio Valley can be unpredictable, we'd expect late September to be highs in the 80s and lows in the 70s.

Bourbon and Beyond is a music festival that Fitz and Julie will be attending on Sunday afternoon and anyone is welcome to join them! To view the lineup check out bourbonandbeyond.com
