We met at Northwestern High School, and we have been together ever since. Photo below of our first prom.
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
5:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Semi-Formal: Suits and cocktail dresses recommended. Ladies may want to wear flats because of the terrain.
Everything is on one level at the venue. There will be golf carts to escort anyone who has any mobility challenges.
The Angel Oak Tree is a free, quick activity. The tree is located less than 10 minutes from the venue! We recommend giving it a look if you have a pair of good walking shoes, there is sandy dirt around the tree.
This place has hundreds of vendors! It's the largest art market in the Southeast.
This site will show you tons of options!
Charleston has tons of great breweries!
The venue is gated and has its own free parking lot, only rule is that all cars must leave by 10 am Sunday the 22nd of September (the morning after wedding).
Depending on amount of people who rsvp'd with kids, we will provide a babysitter to stay inside the gated venue with them.
The ceremony is outdoors, and it is likely to be humid. September is usually hot in Charleston. The reception is indoor and has air conditioning. In case of rain, we will be able to use the indoor facility for the ceremony as well.
There is Uber and Lyft in Charleston however they are not as easy to find once you are on Johns Island, you may want to schedule a ride ahead of time.
We have not done a formal registry. All gifts are appreciated.
