A bus will be provided at 12:15pm to shuttle guests over from the Crystal City Marriott to the National Mall. Please note, if you plan on driving, parking is very limited, but available on West Basin Dr. SW or Maine Ave, SW. Or you can be adventurous and take Jon's favorite form of transportation: electric bikes. The nuptials will begin at 1:15pm at the D.C. War Memorial, so we kindly ask all guests to be seats by 1:00pm.
Cocktail Hour

While we are taking photos on the National Mall with our photographer, guests can enjoy a cold beverage on the Mall (we will provide cups to be more discrete). Guests will have from the time the ceremony concludes, and their photos are taken, to be a tourist! At 3:45pm, a bus will be provided on Home Front drive (where they were dropped off) to transport guests to Vue Rooftop Bar at the Washington Hotel for a drink. This place is special to us because Michaela played hookey from work for a day-date and had drinks overlooking D.C. and watching the sunset. The bus will be provided to take guests to Vue, but if you would like to site-see D.C., it is a mile walk across the National Mall with stops including the Reflecting Pool, WWII Memorial, and the Washington Monument. Please note, cocktail hour at Vue will be a cash bar and end at 4:45pm. From Vue, guests will walk a half a block north to Old Ebbitt Grill.
Wedding Reception

Reception Time! Old Ebbitt has a lot of history itself, but with us as well. After many strolls along the city streets, we would stop in here for the best entrees and service. Also home to the best martinis in town. After dinner, drinking, and dancing, we will gather on the bus once again where it will take us to the Crystal City Marriott. The bus will be waiting 30 mins for anyone that needs to go to their room to change. The bus will depart at 8:50 to take anyone who would like to go to the after party at the Crystal City Sports Pub.

Now the party begins where it all started! We met several times here before Jon finally asked Michaela out, but not without having given the wrong number by accident at first. This quickly became our watering hole and will always have a special place in our hearts. Late night apps will be provided. Get ready to close the bar down with us!

Looking for a good hangover place, Call Your Mother has the BEST breakfast bagels/sandwiches and multiple location spots around the city.

Come with an appetite - their portions and scratch kitchen do not disappoint.
Ivy and Coney (Dive Bar)
Diviest of the Dive Bars. For a whopping $3 you can get a tall boy and a shot. Also a fan favorite of ours.

We love this place for cigars! If you end up going, you have to ask if Justin is there; tell him Top and the Mrs. sent you.

Wharf Street Southwest
So many good places to check out here! Michaela's apartment was a block off the Wharf and we ventured down here almost every other day. Everything from frozen Rum-in-Coke cans at Tiki TnT, unique tacos at Bar Taco, or catch a milkshake and burger at Shake Shack.
