This 95-mile long stretch of coastline in southern England is a UNESCO World Heritage Site recognized for its outstanding rocks, fossils and landforms. We recommend stops in the cute seaside towns of Lyme Regis and Sidmouth, and the seaside walk from Beer to Branscombe, ending at the Masons Arms pub. About 1h from North Cadbury by car
Vast moorland 1h 30m from North Cadbury. Traditionally, Michael's family hazes new romantic partners by taking them on a winter walk across the moors. Jon cannot tell you much about this experience as it was too foggy to see even the rest of the family, let alone the scenery. It is one of Michael's favourite places.
Town famous for its -- you guessed it -- Roman baths 1h from North Cadbury If you have a car, you may wish to stop at nearby Axbridge and Wells (see below), both of which are charming, historic villages, and Cheddar Gorge.
