Hotel
Walden Retreat is located in Johnson City, TX which is 4 hours outside of Fort worth and 1 hour outside of Austin. The Retreat is on roughly 90 acres of land and has AC/Heated glamping tents on site for guest to stay. The link provided has the discounted rooms for the day of our wedding but please be aware that there are limited rooms available, so if you have a family/ group over two people consider looking at a suite that can fit up to 4 people. Check-in is at 4 pm but guest can request early check-in for an additional fee so that your room can be ready by 2 pm. If you can, we highly recommend that you come in the night before the wedding to not feel rushed and to not be checking in as the wedding is starting. To book the night before please contact Walden retreats. If you have any further questions about booking, please reach out to Jorden or Joel.
Flight
Johnson City unfortunately has no airports since it is considerably small, but Austin will be your closest city with an airport. Travel time from the airport to Walden Retreats is a little over an hour. If you have family or friends that are also coming to the wedding, you can fly into their city and hopefully drive down with them.

Unfortunately , there is no plus ones since this will be a very small intimate wedding.
Unfortunately, due to the location of the event kids are not recommended.
The dress code is formal. For men, we suggest a suit or tuxes. For women, dresses, jumpsuit, or dressy separates would all work. No jeans or shorts.
We recommend that people stay at the Walden Retreats due to the festivities being held there, but there is another option nearby such as Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa down the road. Since Johnson City is a small town, unfortunately there are not a lot of options on lodging.
