Shuttle

Shuttle from The Renaissance to New Orleans

March 9, 2024 11:00 am

The morning after the wedding we will be heading to New Orleans where we will spend the rest of the weekend bar hopping and hanging out! We would love for you to join us! There will be a one-way shuttle from the Renaissance hotel Saturday morning at 11 am. Please let us know if you would like a spot on the shuttle! If you plan to do this, we recommend flying into Baton Rouge and flying out of New Orleans

Hotel

Ace Hotel New Orleans

600 Carondelet Street, New Orleans, LA 70130

This hotel is close to a bunch of great restaurants with a music venue, bar, and restaurant on the first floor and a great rooftop pool. In the middle of downtown and close to the French Quarter.

Hotel

Hotel Peter and Paul

2317 Burgundy Street, New Orleans, LA 70117

In between the Bywater (where Mark used to live) and the French Quarter, this hotel has a fantastic restaurant and bar within it. Much closer to Frenchman st (popular music strip) and the more artsy area of town, so it's a little pricier. More of a neighborhood vibe in the surrounding area, including one of our favorite restaurants, Paladar 511.

House Or Rental

Air BNB / VRBO

The Garden District and Magazine St. area (both uptown) have a lot of restaurants, bars, and shopping. This is where Mark and Jess first lived together! Safe and fun to walk around, just don't have a lot of hotels. The Bywater/Marigny is a more hip/artsy area on the other side of the city. Some of Jess and Marks favorite bars and restaurants are there. Highly recommend Markys Bar, Bar Redux, and The Country Club. Mid-City is where Jess and Mark live now. A little more spread out and closer to City Park, it is a little more residential, but has pockets of breweries, bayous, bars, and crawfish! If anyone is renting through these sites and has questions about an area, feel free to reach out and we will let you know if it's a good spot to stay!
