Shuttle to Ceremony

For guests staying at any hotels in downtown Cleveland: we have provided a shuttle service to transport guests to the ceremony. The pickup location is the Hilton Cleveland Downtown. Our shuttle will pick up at the Ontario Street entrance on the west side of the building. This entrance is accessible from the Hilton lobby.

The ceremony will be held at Bre's home church in Tremont. The ceremony is a 15 minute drive from Downtown Cleveland in fair weather.
Cocktail Hour

Cocktail hour will be held on the 2nd floor of the Old Courthouse. If coming from Lakeside Avenue, enter through the front doors of the building, go through security, and head up to the 2nd floor via the elevators to your right, or you can walk up the grand staircase. If coming through the underground tunnel from the Hilton Cleveland Downtown, take the escalators in the Hilton lobby down one floor to the underground level, walk through the tunnel, and turn left to walk across the Huntington parking garage. About half way down the parking garage, enter the Old Courthouse from the underground entrance, go through security, and follow the signs up to the 2nd floor. Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code § 2923.123, no person shall knowingly convey or attempt to convey a deadly weapon or dangerous ordnance into a courthouse or into another building or structure in which a courtroom is located.

The twin of Cleveland City Hall, the Cuyahoga County Courthouse was designed by Chares Morris of the architectural firm of Lehman and Schmitt. Started in 1905 and completed in 1912, the Old Courthouse helps anchor the north end of the Mall and is adjacent to Mall "C" dedicated as Strawbridge Plaza in 2003. The exterior retains its integrity, and the rotunda underwent renovation in 2002. The Courthouse was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. As a brief side note (and fun fact): Bre grew up dreaming of having her wedding reception at the Old Courthouse. Bre worked in this building between undergrad and law school, as it is an operational courthouse Monday through Friday. The building proves to be the perfect place to celebrate the marriage of two young attorneys!

The Hilton Cleveland Downtown hotel is located 600 feet from our reception at the Old Courthouse, less than a minute walk directly across Lakeside Avenue or via the underground tunnel. Daily Valet Parking: $22 per vehicle Overnight Valet Parking: $45 per vehicle Overnight Self-Parking: $35 per vehicle Daily Self-Parking: $10 daily maximum (must be out by 1:00AM, no in and out privileges) Eliot's Bar (2nd Floor) & Bar 32 (Rooftop) are both open until 1:00AM. Each guest receives three (3) free drinks. Cheers! The Drury is a historic building turned hotel; it's a seven minute walk and two minute drive from our reception at the Old Courthouse. Cleveland architecture firm Walker and Weeks is credited with the completion of the Board of Education building in 1931 on the east side of the Cleveland Mall. The building is one of six contributing to the Mall and completes the Group Plan of Cleveland of 1903, the earliest and most fully realized plan for a major city outside of Washington, D.C. Drury Hotels began the preservation and restoration of the building in 2014.
