Miami International Airport is the best airport to fly into if you plan to stay in Miami. You could also fly into Fort Lauderdale International Airport, but transportation may be more expensive if you take a taxi or Uber. You may also want to rent a car if you wish to drive around the city.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the official ceremony starts which is at 5:30 - enough time for you to mingle and enjoy a special welcome cocktail!

Yes! For guests who will be driving themselves, valet parking will be available for $20.

For our celebration, we want you to feel fabulous! 'Black Tie Optional' means you have the choice to go all-out glam in your most elegant evening attire – think tuxedos and gowns if you're feeling fancy! However, we also welcome chic cocktail dresses and sharp suits if that's more your style.

Is the wedding indoors?

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors in the open air. Please come dressed accordingly, keeping in mind the weather conditions for that day. Following these initial festivities, the reception will take place on a covered patio.

Vizcaya Museum & Gardens
Built in 1916 as a winter retreat, this lavish villa is a tribute to the Italian Renaissance. The museum contains much of the original furnishings and artwork, and is surrounded by lush, formal gardens. Located 20 minutes from The Palms Hotel.
Little Havana
Neighborhood in Miami, Florida. Little Havana is Miami’s vibrant Cuban heart, with Latin American art galleries and busy restaurants. Cafes with walk-up windows sell Cuban coffee to cigar-smoking patrons. On Calle Ocho (SW 8th Street), locals discuss politics over dominoes at Maximo Gomez Park, dubbed Domino Park by locals. The historic Tower Theater screens independent and revival films, while the area's clubs host live Latin music.

Known for its many colorful murals, Wynwood is one of the city’s most happening districts. Wynwood Walls is an outdoor museum showcasing large-scale works by some of the world’s best-known street artists. The surrounding streets have converted warehouses housing craft breweries and funky art galleries. A hip young crowd frequents the neighborhood’s chic clothing boutiques, stylish bistros and late-night bars.
Everglades National Park
Everglades National Park is an American national park that protects the southern twenty percent of the original Everglades in Florida. The park is the largest tropical wilderness in the United States and the largest wilderness of any kind east of the Mississippi River. If you want the opportunity to observe the heart of the everglades you can either enter through Shark Valley in Miami or the Main Entrance of the Park in Homestead. This is about an hour away from The Palms Hotel.
Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden
An 83-acre botanic garden with extensive collections of rare tropical plants including palms, cycads, flowering trees, and vines. Get up close with hundreds of butterflies in the Garden's Wings of the Tropics exhibit.
Oleta River State Park
Oleta River State Park is one of Florida's largest urban parks, encompassing 1,033 acres of green space set against Biscayne Bay, located just between North Beach and Sunny Isles Beach. The park is ideal for kayaking, biking, walking, swimming, fishing and camping and offers plenty of tours so you can explore the park with knowledgeable guides.
