Why, so Far Away?

We wanted everyone to be present at both the ceremony and reception. We found a small church in the Dells where we originally were going to have the ceremony, but they told us that we weren't able to have the reception there with so many people. We love all of our family and friends, we couldn't have a wedding without you. This hotel turned out to be the place that God planned for us, It's everything that we could ever dream of or even imagine.

How much are the hotel rooms?

Answer

Great question! With the discount, rooms are $135 a night. that will give you a room with 2 queen beds or a room with 1 king bed. We have 10 rooms reserved for the out of town family and friends. The number of rooms can always be raised with no problems, just call and reserve a room. Use the name Wade/Christensen and you will get your discount. You have to reserve the room(s) by 5/14/24 in order to get the discount.

Is it a cash bar?

Answer

Yes! You have to pay for your own drinks with your own limitations. The Bar is CASH ONLY, so please bring cash or pay $3.65 at the ATM. If you you have a room at the hotel you can bring your own alcohol, but you can only drink it in your room.

Are there seating arrangements?

Answer

No, there is not. There is a table (table 1) reserved for the wedding party. In order for everyone to sit and eat comfortably, there is a limit of eight people to a table.

Will there be a cocktail hour?

Answer

Yes! we want everyone to get to know each other. After the ceremony, you will be escorted to the dinning area. There you will be free to have a drink or drinks, catch up on old times, and/or get to know your new family members.

Is it a buffet or plated dinner?

Buffet Style! You will have a choice of Three entrees and Three sides. There will be salads and bread served to the tables, along with water, coffee, and tea. Dinner choices will be posted in May, closer to the wedding. If you have any food allergies (nuts, fruit, lactose, etc.) please let Steve or Jasmine know. We will do our best to accommodate you.

Will there be dancing?

Of course there will be dancing! Can't dance? Neither can we, but we're doing it and so are you. Lets cut loose, celebrate, and have a great time! We will have a variety of songs, slow and fast, today's hits and oldies. Music will be played from a Spotify playlist, we are open to suggestions of song choices.

Why do you have to pay for your own drinks?

Answer

We want you to be able to drink whatever you want, as much as you want. We just cant afford for everyone to do that on us. With that said, you are in charge of you. Drink responsibly, be safe, and have fun. Rooms are $135 a night, DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE, FAR.
