Stubbornness and persistence pays off!
If there is one word that would describe Kyle, it’s determined. In 2018, Kyle and Jamie because friends over facebook- whereas time would pass, they grew to know one another. After two years of conversing, Kyle gets up the nerve to ask Jamie out for breakfast or a coffee- which she VERY abruptly turns him down. At one point, they even made plans to meet for coffee, and she canceled last minute out of fear, because she knew “he was the real deal.” But Kyle- being the determined bugger he is, doesn’t take no for an answer, and thought of another way to weasel into her untrusting heart. Being the “friends” that Kyle and Jamie were- Kyle asked Jamie for dating advice; how he should ask a girl out for dinner. Jamie wasn’t having it- she realized at that point, her ship was going to sail, and she was going to miss her opportunity if SHE wouldn’t stop being stubborn!! On Sept 20, 2020, Kyle made a goofy post on facebook about a pair of scissors (that we still have to this day, I may add!) and Jamie flirted with him about these scissors- of all things! And the rest is history!! Now, almost 4 years later, with our 5 children, our home in Elizabethville, and two dogs, we have the world by our hands. October 5, 2024 will solidify the foundation for our family of seven, and will continually build for the years to come.

The ceremony starts promptly at 3:00, please allow ample time for parking and seating

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

We recommend the Lodge at Lykens Valley, in Millersburg, PA. It is only a quick 10-15 minute drive from the venue.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There will be ample parking, as the ceremony and reception are all on one site. Please follow the signs and attendants to guide you for parking.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
The ceremony will be outside, and the reception will have the opportunity to be both inside and outside- with yard games, and fire pits available. Make sure to bring your dancing shoes!
