It happened while we were on vacation in the Dominican Republic. It was beautiful; we spent the day ziplining and driving buggies. We made reservations for dinner. Before dinner, James asked me to take a walk to the beach, which I begrudgingly accepted 😜 It was a beautiful night cooled by the rain in the afternoon. The sea was calm, and the rhythm of the waves on the sand was beautiful. I remembered staring at the stars and the moon, reflecting on the water. Then, I turned to James, and he was down on one knee. He asked if I would do him the honor of spending the rest of my life with him. I said, “YES.” My best friends surrounded us. It was perfect. We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
