How We Met
It started with a cheese joke on a dating app. After Becks thought it was a good idea to talk about human dissection and a year 9 French exchange boyfriend (Pierre) on the first date, attempted to meet James drink for drink and subsequently inhaled chips at a bus stop, James knew he need look no further for the woman of his dreams.
The Proposal
Fast forward to Feb 2023 and the most perfect proposal; going down on one knee with a cheese pun in the place where it all began, then going for a cheeky nandos and to see Cher the musical. How could a gal refuse?

The wedding breakfast will include a delicious selection of food that will be brought to your table. You will be able to help yourself to: Grilled Whole Leg of Sussex Lamb with home made mint sauce, tzatziki, smoked rosemary and lavender. Vegan and veggie option of spinach and vegan feta filo wellington. Vegetable Paella with ratatouille (veggie) Halloumi and Mediterranean vegetable skewers with a sweet chilli sauce (veggie). Grilled tiger prawn skewers with lemon , thyme and garlic. Roast new potatoes with rosemary and sea salt. Babyleaf salad with rainbow slaw topped with mint and pomegranate. We will be serving the Wedding Cake for dessert later in the evening! If you have any allergies or dietary requirements please let us know and we will inform the caterers who will be able to accommodate.

We have reserved a number of rooms here at a set price for this wedding booking. It's approx 20 drive from the venue and there is space for all guests if they want, but obviously feel free to book elsewhere if that suits you better! The set prices we've negotiated are as follows and all include breakfast the following morning: Cosy double £94 Standard double £104 Superior double £114 Family room £119 Check in is at 3pm, but ceremony starts at 2pm! You have the option to pay £25 for early check-in, which means rooms are available from 1pm, or alternatively guests are welcome to store their luggage securely for free and check in when you arrive later that night. The hotel has changing rooms we've been assured that you're welcome to use if you need to freshen up beforehand. You're under no obligation to stay here if you'd rather be somewhere else, it's completely up to you! Unfortunately, the venue has a strict capacity so only the named people on your invitation are invited.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
As much as we love your little ones, we're not having children at the wedding. Please take this as an opportunity to rope in the in-laws for babysitting duty, have the night off and let loose!

Where should I park?
Answer
There is plenty of free parking on-site. Guests are welcome to leave their cars and collect by midday the following day.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes, and everything is on the ground floor.

What should I wear?
Answer
Formal wedding attire. Some kind of nice dress or a suit would be great. Feel free to bring trainers for dancing in the evening!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Everything is planned to be indoors (unless we get an absolutely beautiful day and can use the courtyard for the ceremony). There are plenty of outside areas to catch some air and enjoy the countryside scenery.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Answer
We would LOVE to see all of your photos from the day. However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony - we want you all to be in the moment with us and leave the hard work to our photographer.
