If you plan on flying:
The Chattanooga Airport (CHA) is our closest airport, serviced by Delta, United, and American.
Atlanta International Airport (ATL) will most likely be your cheapest option, located just two hours south of Chattanooga. You can catch a Groome Shuttle from the airport to Chattanooga for around $50 per person.
Other methods of transportation:
While it may be known for the Chattanooga Choo-Choo, Chattanooga does not have an active passenger rail station. If you are hoping to arrive by train, the nearest Amtrak station is Gainesville, GA (98 miles).
Nautical arrivals are possible, however you may find them complex. With no ocean port, fresh water navigation will be a part of your voyage. Enter the Mississippi River via the Southern Gulf; then connect to the Tennessee River. Docking is available at various marinas in the area.
