The shuttle will be running to and from the Hampton Inn in Calera. If you opted into using the shuttle on your RSVP submission, they will be expecting you. The bus will begin loading around 2pm, and leaving for the venue at 2:30pm. Early departures from the mansion are scheduled at 7:30p and 8:30p. The final bus run will be around 10pm, when the reception is over.

Bride has a block of rooms at this location. This location will be the pick up point in Calera for the shuttle to the venue.

(Distance 1.3mi) Update 02/16/2024: All cabins are available for rent. Simple in appearance on the outside, these cabins have modern amenities and come at the recommendation of the wedding venue. Please bring your own hair dryer (if necessary) if you stay at this location.

Come by between 10a-1pm for a brunch on your time and a farewell to the couple. People are welcome to come and go as they please. 10am is not a strict “in-time” as brunch will be casual and served throughout the three hours.
The dress code is cocktail attire. The venue requires men to wear jackets, tie optional. Women are encouraged to wear dresses from tea length, midi length, to floor length. ***We highly encourage all guest to wear some shade of blue!*** Ladies, thank you for refraining from wearing white, light beiges, or pale pinks that appear white in sunlight.

Oak Island Mansion requires all guests to leave by 10pm.
We recommend a light jacket for the evening as the reception will be outside. Heaters will be in place, but there may be a breeze after sunset.

Yes - Parking attendants will be present to help you guide your car to park. They will help organize the parking and situate all cars to be out of view of the ceremony location.
RSVPs and final counts have been submitted as of March 21st. If you did not RSVP for your date, we will not be able to accommodate any additional guests at this point. Thank you for your understanding.
Yes - Children of all ages are welcome during the ceremony and reception. We welcome screams of joy from children! In anticipation of other screams, a comfortable space will be provided inside the venue for families with little ones to use as needed during the outdoor ceremony.
