The cottages at Manor Mews have ovens/hobs/fridges. - Please provide anything you would like for food or drink to store in the cottages for the weekend. There is also a Morrisons a short 10 minute drive away. - Food will be provided Friday evening and Sunday afternoon, and of course the wedding breakfast on the day of the wedding. - We ask you bring foods for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning, and Sunday evening. The Crown Inn Hotel offers a breakfast and is 5 minutes by car which you can call to book. - We ask that you bring your own drinks to have in the cottages. We will provide some drinks for Sunday but this will be limited. Thanks!
Onsite accommodation is now full! Woohoo! - To help cover the cost of the onsite accommodation for the whole weekend we will be asking for a contribution per head for those staying with us. - We understand that some people have had to travel quite far, and we appreciate everyone will be comfortable with contributing different amounts, so please can we ask for a minimum of £60 per person for the three nights. If you are able to contribute more, the cost per head is £125. - If not to staying onsite please find local hotels/BnBs under the "hotels" section in the website. We ask that you make your own transport arrangements to get to and from the venue. - Guests will be sharing the cottages with others but we will do our best to group together family / friends!
The Weekend Wedding festivities will take place Friday evening - Sunday evening with us all bidding farewell to one another on Monday morning. Whilst everyone is invited to spend the weekend with us, there is no pressure. People are welcome to stay in their cottages as much or as little as they like with the exception being the day of the wedding!
We ask that you DO NOT take photos during the ceremony. We have hired fantastic photographers to capture all the special moments, and we do not want these photobombed by phones! - You are of course welcome to take pictures at any other part of the day. - Those who have pictures of or with the Bride and Groom refrain from posting these on social media before we have done so ourselves. It is our special day so please allow us the first chance to share with those who were not present.
We have decided to plan a weekend wedding as we will have family and friends travelling from long and far. - Wedding days rush by within a blink of an eye, and we really wanted to create a weekend where we have enough time to spend with everyone we consider our nearest and dearest. - We of course understand if you cannot stay for the whole weekend, however it is something we ask everyone to consider. (nothing wrong with a weekend party!)
Given our planned resources, we have decided to limit the number of guests. This has meant that we have chosen to keep our weekend very special and celebrate only with our closest family and friends. We thank you for respecting our decisions.
Although we love your little ones, we kindly ask that children are left with a baby sitter / Grandparents / Trusted someone for the weekend! We want our guests to let their hair down and enjoy themselves as much as possible. - The exception is made for family members over 5 years of age, who will appear on the invitation / RSVP section of the website however we encourage family to consider babysitters too.
The bar during the evening reception is card only.
There will be designated smoking areas. Please refrain from smoking outside of these areas.
