'Til Death

Chad and Jessica met through mutual friends in high school. We were both dating other people in the friend group. Chad moved to Vegas for a couple years, but we always made sure to see each other when he was back in town visiting family. When Chad moved back to Oklahoma Jessica was dating someone else. It always seemed like we just barely missed each other or the timing was never right. In 2016 we decided to start hanging out and we just realized how much in common we had and how much fun we have with one another. I don't even think we asked to be exclusive or anything. Our relationship just organically happened and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Chad proposed at home. We were getting ready to grab dinner. I had been joking with him about engagement rings and came back to our room to get my purse so we could leave. I turned around and Chad was standing in our bedroom doorway with the ring and said 'I have been holding on to this for weeks trying to plan the perfect proposal. I called the zoo and the elephant sanctuary in Hugo to surprise you and propose with elephants, but I just can't get it to work out so I just want you to have this now'. It was sweet, intimate, and just felt perfect for us.
