Since both of our families are members of Little Zion, we grew up together in church. Even before we were old enough to know what real love is, it became clear that our friendship would be the beginning of our love story. As you might imagine, we grew together through childhood, teenage years, and young adulthood, all while navigating the challenges and life lessons that came along the way. For periods of time, our paths and experiences would take us in different directions, far apart from each other geographically as well as socially. However, no matter how we were evolving and growing individually, neither of us ever stopped caring for the other. We each quietly knew that ultimately God kept the bond between us alive for a reason, because we were meant to spend our lives loving and caring for each other! So, through many ups and downs, good times and not so good times, heartfelt conversations, dreams, and prayer, the pieces began to fall into place and it started to become clear that what we always knew was our destiny, was coming to fruition. A lifetime of love brings us to this time of our lives when we will truly become one in the sight of God and everyone we love!
