Should I rent a car if I'm flying in?

Answer

The only need for a rental will be if you'd like one to get to and from Fort Collins and the airport. Although DIA is no doubt the biggest hassle of living in Colorado since it's roughly 1hr from Fort Collins, once you get to Fort Collins your transportation will be taken care of. You could rent a car, you could Uber, you could schedule a car service, or you could use our DIA / FoCo bus, GROOME. Text Hayley for more info.

Never been to Red Rocks - what should I expect?

Answer

Red Rocks is one of the most distinguished concert venues in the world, it's absolutely beautiful! It's an all-outdoor natural amphitheater in the mountains outside Denver. This means the shows must go on there - rain, snow or shine... literally. Please monitor weather for "Morrison, CO" so you can pack outerwear accordingly. Temps drop at night. It's also in the mountains, so while we will ask to be dropped as near the entrance as possible, it's not guaranteed if not, and it's a hike. Wear comfortable shoes you can walk in, climb stairs in, and stand in for the show. Also consider the elevation while drinking.

Who is Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit?

Answer

One of Hayley & Derrek's favorite artists to see together. Think light rock, light country, great guitar, easy listening. Jason Isbell writes all his own music. It was one of our first concerts together and this will be our 4th time seeing him. If you know nothing else from him, we suggest learning 'King of Oklahoma' so you can scream it out with us at the show.

Yes, it is $23/day to park in their garage which is located directly next door to the entrance.

Unfortunately we don't have the space to accommodate the kiddles for our intimate wedding weekend. We are really trying to curate a weekend of quality time with all our favorite adults who have played a role in our lives & relationship. We apologize as we know this can be inconvenient in your planning!

Those QR codes bring you to our specific Spotify & Apple Wedding Playlist title 'Hood Music & Fine Dining' - a few of our favorite things. This playlist contains 35+ hours of eclectic, nonstop bangers that Derrek & I both have bonded over in our relationship.

Will there be formal wedding invites?

No - budget cuts... you get it. Consider the Save the Date your official invitation and PLEASE RSVP via this site as soon as you possibly can. All relevant info will be on this site and we will also be sending a paper copy of the weekend's schedule & activities prior to May!

How long is the room block open?

Answer

The room block is available from Thursday, May 1st, through Sunday, May 4th. The special pricing & block WILL EXPIRE APRIL 1st. We suggest booking as early as you can to lock in the rate. (Note there are other hotels and budget friendly options in the surrounding area if The Elizabeth Hotel doesn't make fiscal sense to you!)

Where is the registry?

We are not registered because we have everything we could possibly need for our home. We are so thankful and honored that you're spending your weekend with us, we know everyone leads hectic lives and are pulled in many directions at all times... it's not lost on us that you are carving out time, finances, and brain power to make this work - it means the world! :) However, if you feel compelled to get us a gift and don't know what to do, at the risk of sounding *really* tacky, cash is king. We are planning our honeymoon for late May - early June, and always looking for ways to enhance our experience for our FIRST TIME IN EUROPE ! (But seriously just bring yourselves, we can't wait to see ya!)

What's can I expect with the custom hat station?

Answer

For the Pre Wedding Social on 5/2, we will have a team on site to make you the custom hat of your dreams to complete your lewk for Saturday's concert. We will have traditional cowboy hats, rancher hats (flat brimmed), trucker caps, bolos and bandanas. You can expect the custom cowboys/ranchers to range around $140-$200 including a high quality hat + customized accessories.
