Question
What are the modesty guidelines?
Answer
Out of respect for Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, and our religious beliefs, we request that our guests adhere to the following code of attire for the ceremony and reception. We ask that ladies wear dresses or skirts that cover the knee. Slacks should not be worn inside the church. Sleeveless, tight, low cut and revealing attire is not appropriate. Head coverings are to be worn in the church and will be provided. Men should be equally aware of the divine presence of the blessed sacrament and dress accordingly. Recommended attire is a suit and tie. No hats or head coverings are to be worn in the church. We ask that no military uniforms be worn. We thank you for your understanding and compliance with these guidelines. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to ask!

What do we do in between the ceremony and reception?
Answer
There are a few great places to get a bite to eat before cocktail hour. Close by the church is On Parade Diner, Dirty Taco, and Rustic Root in Woodbury. Our favorite spot is Mi Pueblo’s on Kings Park!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
The ceremony has a parking lot with plenary of spaces. For the reception IF YOU ARE UBERING please use the address 6 village dr west, Dix Hills NY 11746 IF YOU ARE DRIVING please park at the candle wood middle school. The address is 1200 Carlls Straight path, Dix Hills NY 11746 Please park in the front lot. Shuttles will begin at 4:15 PM to the reception. Shuttles will resume at 8:30 PM back to the middle school.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We are happy to have children at the ceremony however we will not be having children at the reception. If you are traveling from out of town and need help setting up childcare please contact the bride or groom by May 1st.

Yes! Please let us know if you need a special meal by May 15th.
