Sara and Gretchen met while working together in skateboarding over 10 years ago. Soon after Gretchen left her position and they decided to be best friends instead. Sara quickly became a close friend and confidant, a truly kind and loyal friend through all of the ups and downs of changing careers, dating in your 20's and finding oneself. Together they share a love of travel, Tampa tanks and a good cup of coffee.
Ian Davison
Best Man
Ian and Cameron were introduced through their mutual friend, Kyle, hanging out on occasion when Cameron visited Seattle. After Cameron moved to Washington in 2017, Ian quickly became a close friend over many beers, backyard BBQs, sporting events, and construction projects. Despite his many responsibilities as father of two and husband of one, Ian maintains a clear focus on the details that matter, including beer expiration dates.
Lauren Padgett
Best Woman
Lauren and Gretchen met in the 2nd grade and Lauren is her longest friend. There really isn't much these two haven't experienced together after 30 years of friendship. If mischief was afoot Gretchen and Lauren were surely part of it and are each others biggest cheerleaders. Gretchen's wedding will be another special moment they will share together in their lifetime of making memories.

Eli and Cameron met the first day of Colgate at orientation given an ice breaker that grouped us together due to our August birthdays. After Eli moved to Japan post college, we came together over incredible adventures to Japanese powder dumps on the slopes, post-tsunami “honeymoons” in Maui, and demanding mama-sans at Japanese ryoken. We couldn’t be happier to have Eli be a part of our big day.
Heidi Hackler

Forced into friendship, Heidi is the older sister of Gretchen, by two years. Heidi begged their mother to send Gretchen back to wherever she came from. She realized after several years she would have to love Gretchen anyways, only giving her four black eyes so far in life, but there is still more time. Heidi will be joined by her daughter and Gretchen's niece, Echo Rose, for the ceremony procession. Heidi is an amazing human who dedicates her time to saving animals as a Vet Tech at the Humane Society and blessed Gretchen and Cam with their furry daughter Lola.
David Clark

Not an immediate fan of Cameron’s after an abrupt introduction in his shared dorm room with Eli the night before an exam, Dave warmed up quickly and became a close friend after spending the summer in an off campus house at Colgate University bonding over music, life and beyond. A man of focus and dedication, Dave excels at surfing and mountain biking when he is not working as an Emergency Medic in California.
Julie Jones

Julie and Gretchen's friendship began their freshman year of high school. Julie showed up to art class with a black eye from softball tryouts and Gretchen knew Julie was a badass that she had to befriend. From skipping college classes to make grilled cheese sandwiches and give each other haircuts in the backyard, to making crafts and falling asleep on the couch, Julie is a down friend that has been there for everything.
Jacob Epstein

Jake and Cameron met through their mutual connection to Eli. Following graduation, Cameron and Jake both found themselves living in NYC. The Epstein family quickly became a home away from home for Cameron and a place to celebrate Jewish holidays, even when Jake wasn't always able to attend. It was not uncommon to find the two at a concert, bobbing to the beat as if nodding in agreement. Jake has one of the biggest hearts in the world and spends his time being a lawyer in Miami taking on the evils of asbestos and beyond.
Jason Duffett
Officiant
Jason and Cameron became friends starting at age 3 in Portland, Oregon where the two of them lived across the street from one another. Their friendship has maintained over time and distance, including a stint in Brooklyn, NY where Cameron and Jason proudly represented the Portland Trailblazers at Nets home games, much to the chagrin of many in Brooklyn. Jason quickly accepted Gretchen into the circle of trust and we can’t imagine having this event without him and are honored to have him officiating the ceremony.

Sharing many mutual friends at Colgate, Jake and Cameron locked in their friendship after college while living in NYC. Jake made the first move on late night bus ride to the upper west side and the rest is history. The two of them have shared many many adventures across NYC, logging countless concerts and late night laughs. A man of many talents and interests, Jake is a one man show. Keep an eye out for him as he continues to build his career as an audio producer.
