From Chicago with love
Our story begins when Jacob moved to Chicago, we had met exactly a week before. Lansing was the place I called home for almost the past decade. Little did we know all of that would change and we’d be living together in Vicksburg by the end of the next calendar year. Somehow we survived his year long lease in the city, maybe it was his buying a whole car and frequent 6 hour drives to see me or my (admittedly less frequent) Amtrak trips to see him, our lasting-until-4am phone calls or both of our willingness to leave the world behind and go adventure together. We like to joke that all we’ve done is chase waterfalls and life has never looked better. We’re excited to share this next chapter with you, our families, friends and everyone in our lives as we embark on a lifetime of love and togetherness.

Ceremony
2:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Formal / Semi-Formal - We will be outside on a lawn for the ceremony so choose heeled shoes carefully (blocks/wedges etc)
Seating for the ceremony will start at 2:30. Bridal party, Bride and Groom walk in at 3pm. This part of the day will take place outside on the grass.
Cocktails
4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Snacks and drinks will be served! Please enjoy while the Bride and Groom take a few portraits and sign the marriage license.
Dinner
5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

The ceremony is outside on the grass. Also as it’s October it may be warm or cold, but hopefully warm. Dinner and reception will be held inside

We recommend calling to book, the code for the discount doesn’t seem to apply online. Please note there is a big Notre Dame in Indiana that weekend which is pretty close to our venue, hence why we are staying in Benton Harbor, it would be a good idea to book early. There are 1 king and 2 queen suites both with pullout couches so up to four - six people can stay in each room if desired. Transportation will leave from this hotel but it’s very close to a few other hotels in the area if you find a better rate just ensure it’s within walking distance if you plan to use the shuttles :)
