Las Vegas, NV

Schedule

Here is a brief synopsis of what to expect for the weekend. Kelly and I will fly in on Wednesday, Feb. 21st. The bachelor/bachelorette parties will be Thursday. Friday will be the rehearsal dinner for our families. Saturday is THE BIG DAY and we are having a small ceremony before the reception. Only 50 people are able to attend the ceremony. Though we would like to have everyone attend, we have to reserve these spots for family. The celebration afterwards will have everyone in attendance. Sunday will be most peoples departure day, but its Vegas. Make the trip your own afterwards if you'd like! This is simply the timeframe that Kelly and I will be in Vegas. We understand that not everyone will be able to stay for the week, so for those of you who do not intend on coming to the bachelor/bachelorette parties, feel free to fly in Friday and fly out Sunday. But any man or woman that is in Vegas for that Thursday, you are hereby formally invited to the bachelor/bachelorette parties!

Reception

6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The Industrial Event Space
2330 S Industrial Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89102

Look good everybody! We don't have any suggested attire other than looking the best you've ever looked. The flashier the better. This reception is going to be a party to remember so wear the outfit you want us to remember!

There's going to be plenty of food in Kelly's favorite fashion... a FOOD SHOW! No stuffy sit down dinner will be happening at this event. Also, there will be an open bar for the entire time you are partying with us. With that being said please do not show up wasted as the bartenders will not serve you, and why wouldn't you want to take advantage of an open bar! Be sure to bring your ID's for when you check in.

Travel

Here are some tips for all our friends that are traveling from around the country once you arrive to Vegas. Hotels: It's Vegas! There are tons of hotels, resorts/casinos to choose from. Kelly and I will be staying Downtown on Fremont St. at Circa. Circa's sister properties are The D, and The Golden Gate. If you stay at any of these three spots, you get access to the pool at Circa. Circa is the most pricey, The D is Mid-tier, and The Golden Gate is the most affordable. Though there are plenty of places both on The Strip and Downtown to accommodate all budgets. Getting Around: Uber/Lyft is always an easy option. If you do decide to stay with us on Fremont, but still want to enjoy The Strip, there is a bus that costs $1 to ride that will bring you to and from Fremont and The Strip. Bus stop is on the corner of 4th and Fremont.

Wedding Party

Daniela Bedoya

Maid of Honor

Having my sister along side me means the world. As many of you know, we’ve been in different continents for a very long time now. But ever since we were able to finally travel together, we made it a point to see each other at least once a year, from Mexico, Ireland, Rome, London to the states for my annual friendsgiving. This is even a more special trip because she’ll be traveling all the way from London, UK to Las Vegas, NV to be by my side as I marry my lover Frank.

Joe Ruggiero

Best Man

Joe and I have been the bestest of friends since middle school. From roaming the halls of school, to spending every waking moment at the skate park, to figuring out how to get girls to like us. The two of us have been through all the ups and downs of what it means to be young men. Though we live far apart now, he is always the person I know will answer the phone anytime of day, even if it's just to talk about nonsense. Now that we are a just a bit older, I couldn't imagine having any other person standing by my side as I marry Kelly.

Things To Do

There is no end to the variety of things you can get into in Vegas. Here is a list of places we love to visit in the Fremont area. - Downtown Container Park- Outdoor shopping, eating and drinking area right next to Fremont - 7th & Carson- Hungover? This is a great cure. Good food and french press coffee - Gold Spike- This bar is open 24/7 and has a courtyard of oversized games to play including giant beer pong - Carson Kitchen- Hipster spot with really cool takes on American fare - The Parlour Coffee- New coffee shop just opened 6 months ago. Great coffee options for the morning. Serves breakfast and lunch - The Silver Stamp- Amazing beer hall/dive bar Above are a few of the places we always visit, but Fremont St. is a very lively and colorful place. Once the sun goes down, it turns into a full blown rage fest 7 days a week. If the glitz and glamour of The Strip is what your in the mood for, it's just a short drive away. But you'll find us primarily on Fremont losing our minds!

FAQs

If you have any other questions about anything at all, please reach out to Kelly or Frank. You can also reach out to our dear friend/wedding planner Lacey Robinson at (317) 379-3475.
Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Most can get around with Uber/Lyft and the $1 bus that travels from the strip to Fremont.

Question

How is the weather in February?

Answer

Average weather in Vegas in February is a high of 64 and a low of 42. As it is the middle of the dessert, those temps can vary and the wind can be aggressive sometimes. but all the pools are heated so don't worry.

Question

What type of clothes should I pack?

Answer

Pack for primarily spring weather with at least one pair of jeans and one hoody depending on how long you'll be staying. Bring a bathing suit!

Question

Is Vegas expensive?

Answer

That's entirely up to you. If you gamble, like fancy food and drink, and like to shop, it can be very expensive. On Fremont, pricing is far more reasonable than on the strip for basically everything.
