Come join us at the Bella Vita our family farm for a special rustic barn wedding. The attire is rustic chic. What the heck is that? We will be in the barn for the ceremony and in the undercroft for the reception. Please wear shoes that will allow you to walk on the grassy areas surrounding the barn. If it is chilly outside on this fall day please consider a sweater! Arrive around 2:30pm—we will be doing a cocktail hour with small bites on the patio prior to the exchange of vowels. From there we will go inside the barn for the short ceremony. There will be a reception to follow with some outside activities—yes we are going to throw some axes and play some corn hole so wear comfortable shoes. We will have music and a fabulous dinner and of course drinks and desserts-we could never skip dessert! If you are staying locally in the Rio area we will have a shuttle to and from the wedding. What should I wear?

Answer

Wear something that is appropriate for the weather as we will be outdoors for part of the day. Comfortable shoes (bring a pair for axe throwing and corn hole during the reception) Google has lots of outdoor fall barn wedding suggestions…lets call it dressy casual. Please don’t stress about this one…we will be happy to see you whatever you decide to wear.

Be an early bird…come around 2:30 for our pre-ceremony cocktails and small bites at the patio!

YES! And it will be amazing. There will be a full bar and great desserts.

Is there a shuttle?

Answer

A number of guests are staying at the Residence Inn in Gaithersburg (Rio) location. We will have a shuttle to and from the wedding.
