We like taking our time. It took us 10 years after we first met to actually become a couple and another 3 to celebrate it all - love, commitment and family. So, It is with full hearts that we can finally say the time has come for us to celebrate love and the family we have built. We would love to have you join us for a 4-day getaway to Tuscany, Italy in order to do just that - take our time getting married, celebrating and enjoying it all.

Flight
Florence and Pisa are the closest airports to Montestigliano with about a 45 minute drive to the estate. Rome is another option but the drive is about 2.5 hours from the airport. They say the best time to buy plane tickets for September is 2-3 months in advance. https://www.google.com/travel/flights
Rental Car
You will have to rent a car, or at least be part of a group that does. This place is in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly what makes it so awesome. There's basically no way to get to it without one. We will be reaching out to all of you once the date gets closer to figure out whether people can share rental cars based on where/when they're arriving. But we won't worry about that for several months. Just keep it in mind. Also, you'll definitely want to pay extra for a GPS... trust us.
The estate is comprised of many different villas on a picturesque mountain top surrounded by olive groves, mostly arranged around a central courtyard. Villas range in size, and all of them have a full kitchen and common spaces to hang around in, both inside and out. There are also 3 pools on the property, not to mention a bocce court, olive groves and other fun stuff.
Since the rest of the week will be really casual (we expect to see a lot of you lounging around the pool in flip flops most of the time) we want the wedding day itself to stand out and be more elegant. We're calling the dress code Evening, but basically just use it as an excuse to dress to the nines and look gorgeous. Gonza will be in a three-piece suit, and Fabi will be in a long dress. It's not every day you get to party at a luxury estate on a mountaintop in Italy, right? Make it look good.
Kids are absolutely welcome in our celebration. We are taking our littles, Enzo and Mateo, and we hope you take yours too. Unless, of course, you'd like to make this a romantic getaway. We completely understand and will vouch for you.
If you want to do anything on your own or in groups (like go on a wine tasting tour in chianti, visit the cheese artisans nearby, go into Siena or Florence for the day) we're going to keep it casual and you can either decide while you're at Montestigliano and they can set it up for you.
