We would love for everyone to stay on site at The Trailside Inn! Our hope for our wedding is a weekend where we all get to spend time together: eating, drinking, and enjoying each other's company. To make sure there is space of everyone, we have reserved the whole property. Per the hotel policy, anyone not staying at the inn are required to leave the property each evening by 10pm. To book, visit www.TrailsideInnVT.com and use the promo code "June21" to reserve a room.

Things to Do

There is so, so much to do in the area. Here are some of the places we love to visit!

Village of Woodstock

Woodstock, Vermont

A cute New England town to explore - we love the sandwiches at The Woodstock Farmer's Market, which is great for a picnic lunch (number 2 or 13 are our favs). There are small hikes on Mt. Tom or longer ones that take you around the Pogue. Billings Farm has a rich history of the area, and Gillingham's will provide any "Vermonty" things you may want to bring home.

Village of Quechee

Quechee, Vermont

Quechee is home to the largest gorge in Vermont. You can grab a bite at Simon Pearce and pop downstairs to see the glass blowing, or check out the Antique Mall, which has a wonderful selection of small shops, cheese samples, and a local distillery.

Long Trail Brewing

Bridgewater, Vermont

An Upper Valley staple, Long Trail has a solid tap list and great food right on the river. If you are looking for something to do after, the Mill Mall has things to see: home to Shackleton Furniture (hand crafted and beautiful) and Ramunto's with craft beer, pizza & pool.

Green Mountain National

Killington, Vermont

One of the greens literally touches the Inn. Less than a 5 min drive to the clubhouse. We saved 4 tee times for Friday - if you are interested in joining one reach out to either of us!

Killington Resort

Killington, Vermont

Killington has a bunch of fun summer activities, from mountain coasters to zip line racing!

FAQs

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out!
Question

Where is the closest airport?

Answer

Boston, Manchester (NH) or Burlington are the closest options. Each of these will require a 1-3 hour drive. Uber will not be a reliable option.

Question

Are pets / children welcome?

Answer

While we love all the 2 & 4 footed friends, we're hoping to have their parents have a weekend to let their hair down without responsibility. Please let us know if this is an issue at all so we can work with you to have you there for the weekend!

Question

Why can't I book a room on the Trailside Inn website?

Answer

Did you use our promo code "June21"? The hotel is closed for all reservations during our wedding weekend, except for our guests. Please note, the hotel has a 2 day minimum for their reservations.

Question

Anything else I should know?

Answer

The Trailside Inn would like to reduce plastic consumption - it would be ideal if you can bring a personal water bottle that can be refilled on site.

Question

I have a dietary restriction - what will I be able to eat?

Answer

We are accounting for our gluten free and vegetarian family and friends in our planning. If you have any additional dietary restrictions, please let us know via the google sheet located under the registry section.

Question

What will there be for breakfast options?

Answer

Each morning the Inn will provide a spread of fresh fruit, cereals, bagels, and coffee from 7:30 - 9:30. In addition there are many great places in Killington to grab a bite.
