The Ice Plant is a restaurant and bar located in a historic building. They use fresh local ingredients for all of their food and drinks. They are known for their signature cocktails, but they also have a great selection of beer and wine.
St. George St is the heart of downtown St. Augustine. You will find shops, restaurants, bars, dessert shops, coffee shops and more lined up and down St. George St and it’s many branches.
St. Augustine is probably most well known for its fort, Castillo de San Marcos. The fort is the oldest in U.S. history at more than four centuries old. It is located right on the inter coastal and steps from St. George St.
A short drive from downtown St. Augustine is Anastasia state park. You’ll find beaches, walking paths, and marshes within the park. A pass is required to enter the park and can be purchased at https://reserve.floridastateparks.org/Web/Memberships/CustomerMembershipPasses.aspx Passes range from $2-$8 for pedestrians and vehicles.
On A1A, just past Anastasia State Park, in St. Augustine Beach. This is the closest beach to downtown St. Augustine and it has many of its own restaurants, bars, and shops. The St. John’s County Ocean & Fishing Pier has free parking, beach volleyball courts, picnic tables, and restrooms. You can rent fishing poles and purchase bait at the pier shop.
