In April of 2018, Emily had a scheduled meeting to enroll a 3M employee in a fitness membership at the corporate gym. Emily would be required to take Jordan's vitals and confirm that he was healthy enough to use the fitness center equipment. For some odd reason, Jordan's blood pressure was significantly higher than usual that day. Since Emily was a "by the book" fitness staff member, she forced Jordan to provide a doctor's note regarding his blood pressure before he was allowed a membership. Jordan was immediately hooked on Emily, she was clearly playing VERY hard to get. After a few weeks of Jordan working on his health and his courage, he approached Emily to ask her on a date, and the rest is history. After that first date, Emily no longer saw this guy as a random fitness dude, but a potential life-long partner. Emily found out later Jordan told his friends he met his "future wife" the day they met. The next several years included many vacations, friends and family get-togethers, work outs, house projects, and cuddling with their favorite "baby boy", Mittens, the cat. In August of 2022, Emily accompanied Jordan on his work trip out east and Jordan proposed on the beautiful shores of Newport, Rhode Island on Cliff Walk. Emily and Jordan are excited to celebrate their love with their favorite friends and family members on June 1st of 2024!
