Ceremony: 4-5 p.m. At the Shorehouse, which is the outdoor pavilion at the Omni Resort. Parking is in the "South lot" (the Omni's second parking lot), which is past the hotel entrance on the left. Once you see the South lot, turn in and drive towards the front to park (closest to the beach). The pavilion will be on your right. Cocktail Hour: 5-6 p.m. Appetizers will be served along with OPEN BAR 5-9 Dinner: 6-7 p.m. A buffet meal will be served. Vegetarian or gluten-free options available upon request. Reception: 7-10 p.m. OPEN BAR 5-9

This hotel is on the same property as the ceremony and reception, providing easy access to all events and a beautiful location right on the beach. Where are you registered?
Answer
We deeply appreciate all the travel and effort that goes into attending a destination wedding, and having you here to celebrate with us is the greatest possible gift we could receive. We do not want gifts we just want you to have fun! For those who have reached out who can not make it and want to give a gift, and insist, we would be grateful for any contribution to our honeymoon fund, or there is a registry on this website. Are the ceremony and reception at the same place?
Answer
Yes, at a covered outdoor pavilion called The Shorehouse starting at 4 p.m. The Shorehouse is NOT in the hotel, it's a building next to it. Part of the Omni Resort, just past the Omni Hotel in Palmetto Dunes Plantation, the pavilion is on the beach and on the southern side of the Omni Hotel. Take the entrance on the left PAST the hotel entrance (the South lot) and drive all the way up to the beach. The outdoor pavilion will be on your right. Please check the weather in advance of your arrival and dress to your level of comfort!

How will I get past the Palmetto Dunes guard gate?
Answer
Once you turn into Palmetto Dunes Plantation, there will be a guard gate about a mile down the road to the right of the traffic circle. Tell the attendant you are with the wedding at the Omni. Any unforeseen issues, please text or call Lisa Eischen (mother of the bride) at 919-995-3218.

Do I have to leave at 10pm?
Answer
We will all have to leave the Shorehouse area when it closes at 10 p.m., but there is a hotel bar open later we can move the party to if anyone wants to stay longer.

There are Airbnb and VRBO options on the island (goto airbnb.com or vrbo.com). The Omni hotel has a limited room block you can make a reservation in if you don't want to drive to the wedding and ceremony. It is located in Palmetto Dunes Plantation. Also, there are many hotels on the island.

What should women wear?
Answer
Preferably a dress of any kind -- gown, cocktail dress or sundress. Please note that the pavilion where the wedding and reception are being held is outside, so you may want to bring a sweater or jacket in case it gets cold at night. Our recommendation is to check the weather before you pack.

Any color dress slacks with any color long sleeve dress shirt. Jackets and ties are welcome but optional. Please no shorts, short sleeve shirts, or flip flops. The pavilion where the wedding and reception are being held is outside. Our recommendation is to check the weather before you pack.
