Fall 2017 Ella was sitting in the very front row of the class and Taylor usually sat in the very back row of the class. The day Ella noticed Taylor, he was not in class… yet. This was a 50 minute communications class and the professor was out that day, which meant the TA would be leading. 45 minutes into class, Taylor walks in, in his tan bulky, long winter coat, signs in and tries to leave right away. He thought he would be sneaky, instead the TA called him out in front of everyone. Ella didn’t think much of it until that night she went into work at Milwaukee Burger Company. Little did she know, one of the new cooks looked vaguely familiar. Halfway through the shift she made the connection, it was the kid who came in at the end of class! They hit it off and the rest is history! Woah, not that fast… Spring 2017 Ella and Taylor were practically in the same vicinity that whole fall semester (class together and working together). Since Taylor sat in the very back of the class and Ella in the very front of the class, not to mention Taylor was new to the restaurant and wasn’t in with the cool people at MBC yet… they wouldn’t get to know each other until spring semester. The first day of spring semester, Taylor and Ella realized they had a class together. Not only did they have a class together again, but they both lived relatively close to each other. After classes, they would walk home. During these walks home, they clicked right away on their love for music. They both are very passionate about music and instantly realized they listen to the same artists, albums and genres. They would talk about everything and anything. Until… Taylor decided to ditch Ella and ride his bike home. Talk about a buzz kill. Even though they weren’t walking home together, Ella and Taylor became partners in the majority of the class projects. Let’s play a guessing game on who would create the projects and who would talk and present the projects. If you guessed Ella creating the projects and Taylor presenting the projects, you are correct! For some reason, that dynamic worked. Ella likes to create things her way and Taylor can strike a conversation with anyone. Well spring semester ended, class ended and walking home together faded out. Then summer began. Summer 2017 Luckily, when Ella and Taylor weren’t in class, they were working at Milwaukee Burger Company. If you worked at MBC, you know summers were hard work but so fun. Everyone was with each other 24/7, either working or running around town. To (floating down the river, swimming at Big Falls, hanging around Water Street, going to Music in the Park, etc). During the beginning of summer, Ella and Taylor got extremely close but they didn’t want anyone to know they were seeing each other. They would sneak around town or hangout in large groups and no one suspected anything (or so they thought). One day, Ella and Taylor were hanging out at her apartment. Her roommate, apparently, had one of their coworkers over. This coworker made the connection that Ella and Taylor had been secretly going on dates and decided to text everyone the news. The secret was out of the bag and Ella and Taylor were now public. On July 6th, 2017 (they don’t know the exact date but that’s the one they chose), they decided to make it official. Now the rest is history…
