The love story between Ben and Elizabeth began when Elizabeth sent Ben a facebook message on December 15, 2021 asking if he was remodeling his home. After we talked for a few days, Elizabeth invited herself over to Ben's mother's house for Christmas. The plan was for Elizabeth to visit Ben and to see the work he had done on his house prior to going with him to his mother’s house for Christmas that year. Unfortunately, I was unable to go to Ben's the first few times that we had planned to meet because Elizabeth got sick with covid. Due to all the snafus surrounding my coming over, Ben started feeling like he was being catfished. It wasn't until around 9 pm on December 24, 2021, that Elizabeth finally arrived to see Ben and his house after all the hard work he put into it. The following day, which was Christmas, Ben and I were going to Hot Springs to spend the holiday with his mother. Since our trip to hot springs for Christmas, we haven't stopped talking, and the rest is history. While on the trip of our lives in Costa Rica, Ben surprised me and proposed to me on October 12, 2023. To say I was surprised/shocked is a complete understatement. I absolutely cannot wait to marry my best friend, my soul mate, and the love of my life.
