Why do I feel so drunk at this elevation?

Answer

Tahoe is at a high elevation Not gonna give a scientific answer (constricting blood vessels?) but wanted to make sure everyone sees this! You will get drunk faster, and might be winded easier while walking, at higher elevation. Please be mindful of this if you’re coming from sea level.

Where are the ceremony and reception

Answer

The ceremony and reception are colocated at the Beach Retreat & Lodge. The ceremony will be on the beach and the reception is a short walk away.

Where should I fly into

Answer

The closest is Reno, NV. From there you should be able to get a shuttle to South Lake Tahoe where you can get an Uber, taxi, shuttle, etc to the venue or wherever you decide to stay. The next closest would be Sacramento, but you would likely need to rent a car. San Francisco and Oakland are the largest airports in the area, but would require a rental car and significant driving. Can I bring a date?

If your invitation lists your significant other, or a guest, you are welcome to bring them. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is cocktail attire. We are getting married on a beach, so sandals are fine for the ceremony. For women, mid-length or tea length dresses are recommended. Suits or slacks and sports coats are the best for men.

Can I bring my kids to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Although we love children, our ceremony and reception are geared for adults. Please don't bring any children that we have not already explicitly told you that you can bring.
