Dog Friendly Surf Paradise
In October 2020, Will bought a house in Costa Mesa and moved to southern California from the Bay Area with his newly adopted maltipoo, Ripper. (Don't worry, all of his NorCal sports loyalties remained intact). With the world on lockdown and his work schedule on turbo, he figured he might start renting out rooms to meet likeminded people: surfers and dog lovers. While coming up with ways to market his AirBnb, he ended up with the description "dog friendly surf paradise." Around the same time, Lily had driven across the country with her newly adopted samoyed, Aloha. After finishing grad school, she moved back home to California, and all she wanted to do was surf, snowboard, skate, and travel with Aloha. Purely by chance, Will's AirBnb listing caught Lily's eye. She booked it. And the rest, they say, is history.

Our wedding and reception will take place at Galway Downs by Wedgewood in Temecula, CA. The address is 38801 Los Corralitos Rd, Temecula, CA 92592.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Summer semi-formal or cocktail attire is encouraged! It will be warm in Temecula in August, and the ceremony will be outside, with reception inside. Please dress to your comfort level! Our wedding colors are green, white, and gold, in case you feel like matching our theme!

The nearest airport to Temecula is Carlsbad (CLD) Airport which is 26.5 miles away. Other nearby airports include Santa Ana (SNA) (43.2 miles), Ontario/San Bernardino (ONT) (47.2 miles), San Diego (SAN) (53 miles) and Los Angeles (LAX) (79.3 miles).

Temecula is a beautiful region with plenty of wineries, restaurants, and scenery. We encourage everyone coming to the wedding to explore what the area has to offer. On the day after our wedding, we have informal, flexible plans to spend extra time in the area to catch family and friends who are still around. More details to follow closer to the wedding date!

Our wedding is kid-friendly! If you would like to bring your family to our wedding to celebrate with us, please indicate as such in your RSVP so we can plan ahead. Please see the next question about guidance for your fur babies.
