Seating to start at: 4:00pm The Ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm All events will take place at: Overhills Historic Mansion.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal/cocktail attire Weather permitting, we plan to have the ceremony in the Meditation Gardens on the lawn before moving to the mansion for the remainder of the evening. Also, We are excited that we were able to book The Bachelor Boys. This popular Baltimore band will get your toes tapping - so make sure to wear or bring comfortable shoes!

Can I bring a date?

"and guest" included on the formal invitation envelope indicates a date may be added to the response card OR online on the RSVP link on the wedding website. When making the RSVP either by mail-back response card or online, please include both the invitee(s) & guest's full name for place cards & seating plan. In the event that a guest's partner was inadvertently left off of the invitation, please let us know & we will do our best to accommodate.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes we do! The Hilton Garden Inn BWI has reserved a block of rooms with discounted rates for our guests. Click the "View" box at the bottom of the RSVP section to be taken directly to the reservation page to begin the booking process. Please note that any rooms left in the block not reserved before 9/20/24 will be released back to the public & no longer held for our group. If hotels are not what you are looking for, Air B&B & VRBO may be potential alternatives. Finally, there are a variety of local Bed & Breakfasts in Ellicott City, Catonsville & the Baltimore area that might be of interest as well.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

The Hilton Garden Inn BWI offers a small courtesy shuttle to & from the Overhills Historic Mansion for those interested. Please ask for Sheri Smith at (410) 691-0500 to reserve a seat on the shuttle if desired. (Reference the Walsh/Barbieri Wedding )

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Overhills has ample parking for all wedding guests on site. However, should there be the need for extra parking, the adjoining church lot is used for overflow.
