Jackie and David met when they both attended a bowling outing with a mutual friend of theirs. Though their bowling was mediocre at best - and that's putting it kindly - a connection was made, numbers exchanged, and a fateful plan set in motion for a date at the soonest possible moment. When the pair went out for their first night on the town on September 11th 2014, it was as though neither one of them wanted the night to end. As they strolled endlessly through the streets of DC, it became clear that this was the start of something more. The two would soon attend a wedding, their first as a couple, and eventually even take the major step of moving in together after a whole four months of dating! Needless to say, their patience and deep affection for one another was established early on. Just a short eight years later, after many adventures, birthdays, anniversaries, a graduation, new jobs, a pandemic, caring for a neurotic cat, and even dealing with a house that seems intent on falling apart, the inseparable duo took their most dramatic step of all - they got engaged at the Jefferson Memorial on March 25th 2022. It was a sneak attack, coordinated by Dave and a posse of helpful family members and friends who helped turn an annual tradition of David and Jackie's into an all-time memorable moment to be cherished forever. Now they are ready to tie the knot, and they are both ecstatic to share their moment with so many dear friends and treasured family members.
