Our return to Chuckanut bay felt triumphant, having navigated the dark uncertainty together. Our late escapade was further rewarded with the wondrous brilliance of bioluminescence in the bay waters. We left a trail of light in our wakes. Not much has changed since, other than deciding that navigating the wonders of life together is something to which we are completely devoted.
