Joshua & Darricia Welcome to our wedding website! We are excited to share our journey with you as we prepare to celebrate our love and commitment on August 24th, 2024. How We Met Our love story began in the sixth form of secondary school. Joshua and Darricia met and quickly became close friends. It wasn’t long before our friendship blossomed into a deep and meaningful relationship. After a year of being together, we faced the challenge of being apart but were determined to make our love last. The Long Distance Challenge After secondary school, life took us on different paths. Joshua moved to the United States to work towards his dreams, while Darricia went to university in Barbados. For five years, we navigated the challenges of a long-distance relationship, relying on phone calls, video chats, and cherished visits to keep our bond strong. Despite the miles between us, our love never wavered. Reunited and Stronger Than Ever When the long-distance chapter finally ended, we were reunited and ready to build a life together. Settling down together brought us immense joy and a sense of completeness. Our bond, strengthened by the distance and time apart, became the foundation of our shared dreams and future. Our Greatest Joy In the ninth year of our journey, we were blessed with the arrival of our beautiful son, Joshua Jr. He has brought so much happiness and love into our lives. Watching him grow and thrive has been our greatest adventure yet, and we look forward to many more joyful moments as a family. The Proposal September 2023 marked a new beginning for us. Joshua planned a heartfelt proposal, filled with love and promises for the future. With tears of joy and hearts full of love, Darricia said yes, and we began to dream about our future as husband and wife. The Wedding As we approach our tenth year together, we are excited to celebrate our love and commitment with our family and friends. Our wedding will be held on August 24th, 2024, and we cannot wait to share this special day with all of you.
