We love Sedona! Sedona is one hour away from Flagstaff and has many incredible hikes (Devil's Bridge and the Huckaby Trail are our favorites!) and restaurants (check out Oaxaca and Indian Gardens). We recommend driving the Highway 89-A for some spectacular Northern Arizona views.
The South Rim of The Grand Canyon is 1 hour and 30 minutes from Flagstaff. If you have never been before, we highly recommend taking a trip to see these breathtaking views.
One of our favorite day trips to take is to the wineries in Northern Arizona. Page Springs Wineries, Oak Creek Vineyards & Winery, and Javelina Leap are our favorites! They are conveniently between Phoenix and Flagstaff if you want to try some Arizona wine!
Sticking around town? Great choice! We recommend hiking or taking a stroll through Buffalo Park, visiting Lowell Observatory (where Pluto was discovered), and visiting Sunset Crater. We love downtown Flagstaff and recommend coffee at our favorite shop Macy's, brunch at The Toasted Owl, lunch at Fratelli's Pizza, and dinner at Swaddee Thai or Salsa Brava. Looking for some beer? Try our favorites: Mother Road Brewery and Dark Sky Brewing. Beer not your thing? Head to Rendezvous at the bottom floor of the Hotel Monte Vista for Danielle's favorite, an espresso martini, or Staci's favorite, a Pisco Sour.
