FAQs

Question

An October wedding in the Adirondacks… are you guys nuts?

Answer

Maybe! But we have many things planned to keep our guests warm. We are hoping for a beautiful day, but we advise our guests to be prepared for October weather. Fur coats and comfortable shoes are encouraged!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We will be having an outdoor ceremony on the beach followed by a heated tented reception. Stilettos are not advised, warm pashminas are :) We want our guests to be comfortable, so feel free to wear what makes you feel warm and cozy.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The sooner the better :) If something comes up please let us know!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We would like to have as many of our guests as possible stay on site in one of the cabins at our venue. There are cabins that accommodate both large and small groups, for these accommodations to work we would ask some family members to stay together. If you are interested in staying in one of these cabins, please let Courtney and Liam know so they can arrange accommodations. For those guests who would prefer to stay at a hotel, we would recommend The Alpine Lodge in nearby North Creek.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot at Minerva Town beach for our guests that are not staying at a cabin. This will require a short walk over to the reception and ceremony. You are welcome to park at a friend’s cabin or ask us if we have one you can park at!

Question

Is there anything special I need to pack?

Answer

If you are staying in a cabin, please bring your own towels as the cabins cannot supply them! Other than that make sure you have some warmer options as it can get cold at night in the Adirondacks.
