Our Story

We met through a friend at college and said no more than a few words to each other. About a year later, I saw a picture of Naomi and decided to get into contact with our mutual friend to ask about her. From that point on it took about a year for us to finally get it right. I had previously promised her a steak dinner, but it was right in the middle of the "pandemic" and nowhere was open. Needless to say, she got her steak about three months after we started dating. Since May 27, 2020, our lives have been entwined in bliss and happiness knows no bounds in our home. Naomi and I are so excited to truly become one with each other and spend eternity together. -Colin, groom

The Proposal

5.25.23

The morning of May 25, 2023 was frankly one of the most nerve-racking times of my life. Naomi and I were in Disney World and that day was our Epcot day. If you know us well, you know that Epcot day is serious. The day began as normal, except I had to rush to my mom and dad's room to hand the ring over to my mom so the box wouldn't be bulging out of my pocket. Later on in the day, we had just ridden Spaceship Earth and I told everyone we were going to go down in front of the ride to get a picture of Naomi and myself. After getting off the ride, I chose to lag behind so my mom could pass me the ring on the sly. The handover was successful. We took a couple of normal pictures and Naomi, being eager to get on the next ride so we could go to our lunch reservations, tried to drag me along. I gripped her hand, she turned to me and I asked her if she was ready. "Yes." Was her reply, I pulled her in for a quick kiss. I then got down on one knee, fished around in my back right pocket for a ring box. "Marry me, baby." I said to her after I managed to pull get it out of my pocket, and those blue eyes lit up like fireworks. "You know I will." She said to me. And thats how we began forever together.
