Technically, their story began at Blythe Elementary School in Huntersville, North Carolina. Anna attended Blythe from kindergarten through the fifth grade. Clark attended Blythe from kindergarten through the fourth grade. They do not recall spending time together, however, both remember recess including intense games of kickball, flag football, and whiffle ball. With both having a love for sports and a competitive nature, it is fair to assume their paths crossed at an early age. Clark and Anna went to rival middle and high schools where they both played sports. Clark recalls the moment he first noticed Anna. Of course, Anna was behind the three point line when his eyes first landed on her. Clark and Anna grew up in the same town with mutual friends, some of those still in their close circle. Clark attended East Carolina University and graduated with a degree in Communications. Anna attended North Carolina State University and graduated with a degree in Psychology. After college, both moved back home to Huntersville. Clark began working at Red Ventures and Anna began graduate school at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. After several attempts, Clark convinced Anna to go on a date with him. Their first date was at Crafty Beer Guys in Huntersville. They instantly bonded over travel and sports (of course). Over time, they grew to understand and respect each others morals, values and beliefs. Both feel as if they are the lucky one for crossing paths with the other. Both have committed to a sense of purpose in growth together. Since their first date at Crafty Beer Guys, they have developed a deep connection and unwavering love for each other. On July 28th in Huntersville - in the presence of their siblings, parents, and grandparents, they will become husband and wife. Both feel incredibly lucky to have so many individuals they care deeply for and love beyond words. Even though they have chosen to do an intimate ceremony, they have not lost sight of the joy so many individuals and families bring to their lives. They look forward to all of the conversations and celebrations with the people they love in the upcoming season of life as husband and wife. If you have stumbled on this page, you mean a great deal to the happy couple. You are a reason their hearts are filled with gratitude. Out of so many paths their lives could've taken them, they are so grateful theirs decided to align. Cheers to the future Mr. & Mrs. Coey!
