It began with a vacation to St. Louis. It was a chance to explore a new places for us both and share new experiences together. One of the places we explored was called The Butterfly House and while it was a date, the whole trip was designed to ask Carmen to become my wife. While visiting the place, I brought her to the back where it had space and more butterflies, one of her favorite insects , to learn about. While walking around, I got behind her as she was staring at this little waterfall. As she was distracted I down on one knee and so when she turned around and I asked her to marry me. I will never forget her say “Absolutely!” as she teared up looking down at me. We took pictures of the entire event and the rest is our beautiful history! We cannot wait to make more memories and adventures together! We are certainly looking forward to the rest of our lives together!
