So, what's the deal?

We're so excited to celebrate with everyone at Sandy Island - a sweet, little summer camp spot on Lake Winnipesauke. We rented out the island for the weekend's festivities. And yes, it's actually an island.

Do I need to book a hotel?

Answer

You sure don't! Each person will receive their cabin assignments when they arrive at the dock. Given it ain't exactly cheap to rent an entire island and feed 100+ people for three days - we're asking for $250 per guest. This will cover your accommodations and all meals for the weekend.

And what exactly am I paying for?

Answer

This is a wedding weekend starting Friday afternoon through Sunday morning - $250 covers each person’s twin bed, all your meals, many a’drink, boat transfer on and off the island, and endless good ol' fashioned family fun for three days. We really hope you embrace the on-island experience with us.

How do I reserve my bunk?

Answer

Cabins will be assigned on a first-paid, first-served basis. To get the best of the best waterfront views - shoot a venmo to @ken_valen. Let us know if you don't have Venmo and we'll get you sorted.

And - is this, like, real camping?

Answer

Well, sorta. There’s beds, showers, plumbing, and electricity. It’s three days, step away from your inbox and into nature. You’ll be fine - let’s go!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If you love them, we know we will too. Due to vendor costs - extra guests need to be discussed beforehand so please raise any questions / concerns before June 30.

What if the cabin life ain’t for me?

We really, REALLY hope you immerse yourself in the experience, but if you’d prefer to stay off the island (lame, but whatever) a few local hotels and their rates can be found below: Pickering House Inn: $750 / night The Inn on Main: $299 / night Wolfeboro Inn: $305 / night The Ballard House Inn: $400 / night Center Harbor Inn: $350 / night Additional boat transfer, Uber, and hungover breakfast sandwich cost not included :(

How do I get to the island?

Get ya flippahs! Just kidding, the "Big Sandy" will pick guests up and bring them to and from the island. That's right, quick little booze cruise to get us in the camp spirit! We're still working on the parking locations & boat schedule for pickup and drop off times - stay tuned!

But what will I wear?!

Answer

Ceremony and Reception Please plan to wear cocktail attire for the big day. Think sports coats, dress pants, pretty dresses & jumpsuits. Guys, please no jeans - it’s a pet peeve. Put on your dancing shoes and let’s party in style. Other than that - we’re here to have fun and get dirty. All other activities and events are play clothes / camp casual. That’s up for interpretation and we expect some creativity.
