We would like to see everyone dress their best. Formal attire is requested. Please try to avoid the colors white, maroon and forest green. Also, the venue does require no one be barefoot while inside. So if heels are planned, please bring a backup pair of shoes just in case! Men: button down shirts, ties, jackets optional and slacks. Women: cocktail length dresses or longer
The ceremony will be starting at 4 pm. Please plan arrive 15-20 minutes early to get a seat. If you arrive late, you will not be seated for the ceremony and can join us for cocktail hour.
Yes. If you do not RSVP by September 3, we will assume you are not coming and you will be missed.
We will not be having an open bar, however the first drink will be on us. There will be a token on each setting at the tables. They can be used for alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. Any drinks wanted after that will be a cash bar.
There will not be transportation provided. There Is a parking lot available for all guests. Once you turn into the venue, turn right into the parking lot on the lower level.
While we love the little ones in our family, the only kids allowed will be the ones included in the wedding itself. If your child has been invited, they will be included on the invite/in the rsvp section.
Unfortunately, our venue can only hold so many quests. So, unless specified on the invite, please refrain from bringing any extra guests.
We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. While gifts are not expected, we have a few registered items and a fund linked on this website.
If you are coming from out of town and don't know exactly where to stay, the venue has a few hotels they recommend. Hampton Inn and Suites in Exeter, Fairfield Inn and Suites in Exeter and The Exeter Inn. We will not be blocking any hotel rooms to allow flexibility on the guests due to nothing being super close. However, feel free to stay wherever you are most comfortable.
Both the ceremony and reception are taking place at Josiah's Meetinghouse. The ceremony will be taking place outside (weather permitting) and the reception will take place inside the barn. Please do not enter the barn until you have been instructed to do so for the cocktail hour.
We have hired a wonderful photographer and videographer to capture the ceremony. We ask that you please refrain from taking any pictures during the ceremony. Anytime after that, go to town.
We will be having Goody Coles Smokehouse cater our wedding. BBQ will be served buffet style.
