Our Story
Our story began at a sand volleyball court in Richmond. Neither of us played volleyball growing up, we were just joining mutual friends weekly for some fun. The first time we were both there together, we noticed each other instantly. Caleb called his friend Tyler Piper later that evening to tell him about her. Bethany soon invited Caleb to a beach day-trip with some other friends to celebrate her birthday. After the beach trip, Caleb called her and asked her out on their first date for dinner at The Daily and mini-golf. While talking in the car, we realized that both of us love being a part of the worship teams at our churches and love worship music in general. From there, we couldn’t believe how much we had in common and began to fall in love. Since then, we have shared many experiences, memories, and grown close together. We love playing sports together, we love rooting each other on in our own respective sports (Caleb-softball, Bethany-soccer), we love watching baseball (Go Braves!) and football, we love going on hikes, going on trips, we love spending time together with our families and friends, and we love doing just about everything together. Now that we’ve finally made it, we cannot wait to become each others’ family and start our lives together.

Weather Update: According to the latest weather forecasts, there is a chance of snow on our wedding day. While we can't control the weather, we've put together some information to help you navigate any snowy conditions. First, know that we are in communication with the venue and with VDOT about the event and the weather. The venue has seen wedding guests get in and out of the venue with much worse weather than what is currently predicted. They are not concerned! Please see details below: Ceremony Plans: If the weather continues as predicted, we have a backup plan for an indoor ceremony which will be at the same venue. Parking: Please note that the venue will have employees working the parking area at the venue. Parking attendants will help all guests arrive, park, and leave the venue. They also have access to a truck with a plow and will be able to plow the driveway and parking area if necessary. When arriving, please follow the parking attendants’ instructions. **Transportation Options:** - **Carpooling:** Consider carpooling with friends or family members who own four-wheel/all-wheel drive vehicles to ensure a smooth journey. If you don't’ know anyone and would like to be connected with other guests please let us know. We would love to celebrate with everybody! **Venue Preparation:** - Walkways and parking areas will be treated to minimize slipperiness. **Dress Code Suggestions:** We recommend dressing warmly and wearing appropriate footwear for snowy conditions.
