Schedule

The gates open at 2:30pm at The Heartwood Center. There will be a bar (with friendly bartenders) with his and her cocktails, beer, wine, sparkling wine, sparkling water, and pop. Please lunch before the ceremony. The ceremony starts at 3:00 pm. After, we will all lounge under the trees for a couple of hours to mingle. Across the street is the reception, at Matchwood Brewery Company. This is a 1 minute walk. It will be a relaxing and easy transition from one venue to the other. Dinner will be served. On Sunday (the day after) we invite you to join us on a chairlift ride/nature walk on the top of Schweitzer Mountain. We will be waiting up top at Sky House restaurant. This is a low impact nature stroll. Make sure to bring layers, it can get a bit chilly. There is a ticket office right at the base of the lift. There are also a few places to eat if you want to go up early and enjoy the epic views that Schweitzer has. Time 2 pm - ish

Travel

The Wedding Website of Caitlin Doyle and Michael Gannon
Welcome to The Selkirk Mountains! Airport: The most efficient airport for travel is Spokane Int’l Airport (GEG). From there, it is approximately 1.25 to 1.5 hours to Sandpoint. If you would like to make a road trip out of it, the other airports that can work are Seattle (5.5 hrs) or Missoula (3.15 hrs) Accommodations: Sandpoint has many House/Condo/Apt Rentals on AirBNB or VRBO. In addition there are Hotels/Motels. The closest being Cedar Street, downtown. This is walkable to the wedding venue. Other hotels are the Best Western (on the lake) at Trinity and several others a mile or so out of town. Staying in town is recommended. Everything is easily navigated and quaint. BIKES!!!! We highly recommend renting a bike while in town. Sandpoint is flat, fun, and social. Bonner County Bikes or Greasy Fingers Bikes both rent. You will definitely see the bride and groom pedaling over the weekend. If bikes aren't for you, Sandpoint is small and easily walkable.

Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Caitlin Doyle and Michael Gannon
We are in love with Sandpoint and have travelled here 8 times in 3 years. Here we go..... Farmers Market. Wed 3-5:30/Sat 9-1pm. It is a cool walk around with local crafts, fruit, vegetables etc... and great food trucks. Breakfast/Lunch: City Beach Organics. This our favorite. Healthy, filling and local. Dinner: Most of the spots in town are solid and have a wide range of menus. Hydra Steakhouse McDuffs Brewing, 2 locations the one in bank building has full menu, the other, free popcorn. Utara Brewery - Indian. Trinity-American fare but you get to look at the lake. Def the best view. The Bank. Modern and bountiful. In the town of Dover (5-7 min drive from downtown) is a nice spot called DISH. City Beach. A real beach in town on the lake. Swimming or lounging in the sand. Bars: It is a brewery type town but also has some fun bars. Eichardt's- beer/wine only. Late food 219 Lounge-The town bar, usually has live music 113 Main-bar/restaurant Ponderay Winery-Local wine, light food.
