2.3 mile "moderately challenging" hike to a mountain lake at the top of Smuggler's Notch
Bingham Falls
0.5 mile easy hike to a waterfall. Starts from the top of the mountain notch road.
Stowe Recreation Path
5.3 mile paved pathway through downtown Stowe - great for walking, running, or biking.
Mount Mansfield
Drive the Toll Road to the top of Mt. Mansfield (and Vermont) for views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains. Alternatively, you can get to the top by foot as well (https://gostowe.com/hiking-mansfield-long-trail)
Idletyme Brewing Company
One of our favorite Vermont breweries (and location for our engagement photos). Highly recommend going to the treehouse bar out back and ordering a pretzel as soon as you get into town. They also have a full menu if you are looking for a great dinner option.

If you like recreating scenes from the Sound of Music, be sure to stop by von Trapp Brewery & Bierhall - again, recommending the pretzel. For the full Europe-in-VT experience, the Trapp Family Lodge is just up the road - with views, gardens, and an Austrian Kaffeehaus.

Smugglers' Notch Resort
If you don't feel like crossing the gap too many times there are plenty of things to do in the resort as well including restaurants, a Ben & Jerry's scoop shop, frisbee golf courses, and all the outdoor activities. Going down the waterslide is highly encouraged.
