Elevated Cocktail Attire
Please arrive no later than 3:45pm. The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm, followed by cocktail hour at 4:30pm, and reception at 5:30pm. Dinner will be served buffet style, with your choice of chicken and/or beef. The celebration will continue with open bar and dancing! To RSVP, please enter your name exactly as it appears on your invitation. Be sure to fill out the RSVP questionnaire all the way through and hit submit.

This hotel is a reasonably priced option in Lake Nona, for those who want to stay in a hotel near the Scheuer family in Southchase. Lake Nona is also a very popular, growing city with a lot of fun activities and restaurant options. There are a few other hotel options in Lake Nona as well. It is a about an hour and 10 minutes from this area to the wedding venue in New Smyrna.

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Orlando East/UCF Area
This hotel is a reasonably priced option near UCF, for those who want to stay in a hotel near the bride and groom, and/or the Woods family in East Orlando. There are tons of restaurants along University Blvd. It is an hour drive from this area to the wedding venue in New Smyrna.

Can I bring a plus one?

To ensure we can celebrate with everyone we hold dear and create the experience we envisioned, we had to make some difficult decisions regarding our guest list. Invitations will specify if a guest is included. We truly appreciate your understanding and are excited to celebrate with invited guests on our special day.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Absolutely! Within your RSVP, please include any food allergies and/or dietary restrictions.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
While we understand it's challenging to take time away from your kids, our celebration will be geared toward an adult setting. Please consider this evening as an opportunity to unwind and enjoy some grown-up time! Please reach out to us if you want to chat more about this.

Is this a beach wedding?

No, although our venue is in close proximity to the beach, this is not a beach wedding.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress code for our wedding is elevated cocktail attire. Examples of elevated cocktail attire can be found online. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Caitlin. & of course, please do not wear white. November in Central Florida can be unpredictable, so please check the weather ahead of time and dress accordingly. Our short ceremony will be outdoors.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
As many of our out-of-town guests may opt to stay closer to family in Orlando, we've decided not to arrange hotel blocks. This way, you have the freedom to choose accommodations that suit your preferences. Check out the travel and accommodations section on our website for suggestions, or feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, all guests must park in the free, designated lot across from the venue. There will be clearly marked signs.

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can find our Amazon registry linked on this website, and your gift will conveniently be delivered to our home. Otherwise, a wedding card box will be at our reception.

What if it rains?
Answer
We have a beautiful, indoor backup option at our venue, so we'll be perfectly fine in case of rain.

Is smoking permitted?

The Grand 721 has a strict non-smoking policy. Smoking will be permitted only in designated areas outside.
