Matt and Lindsey met in Richmond, Kentucky in Fall of 2009. Lindsey had just started her master’s at EKU, Matt had recently graduated from EKU, and —no matter the shenanigans—they seemed to find each other. Whether it was hangouts with their friend group at Richmond's well-known "White House" or summer trips spent down at the Island in Tennessee, they shared adventures and created priceless memories where friends became family (no, literally!). They spent the next decade sharing holidays, trips, and random travels (some epic, some still on the bucket list). Fifteen years later, and fate did its thing. Matt and Lindsey landed in Arizona. One Glass Animals concert, a few *encouraging* friends, and three words— “shoot your shot”—changed everything. Matt took that shot, with an official date night of putt-putt…and Lindsey showed up, with a surprising golf game. The rest is history. Now, sixteen years after those first late nights in Kentucky, they’re writing the next chapter together. A chapter that begins with... “we’re getting mArRiEdDdD!”
