Albany Airport (ALB) is the closest airport (47 miles) and offers a variety of flight options from all major cities. Car rental options are available at Albany Airport or plan to arrange a local taxi in advance. Uber is typically available from ALB but can be a bit unreliable, FYI!
Train
Amtrak from NYC Penn Station
Amtrak operates daily between NYC's Penn Station and Hudson, NY which is a 40 minute drive from Windham. Make a rental car reservation through Enterprise and they'll meet you at the station. Rent a car upon arriving at one of NYC's airports and take the pretty drive up 87-N (approximately 3 hours) to Windham.

The Windham Path
The Windham Path is a family-friendly public 1.5-mile looping trail located off Route 23 just outside the town of Windham. A third of a mile trail connects the two pathways. The Windham Path provides access to the pristine Batavia Kill stream in Windham. The trail roams through peaceful fields along the woodlands and streams and provides picturesque views of the Great Northern Catskills.
